The crypto vision I forgot to follow up on… until now

This is a prophetic follow-up I never got around to filming—but I still wanted to share it with you.

Back in November 2023, I heard the phrase “OpenAI crypto” while I was asleep.

When I woke up and did some research, I couldn’t find any official coin connected to OpenAI. The closest thing was Worldcoin, which was co-founded by Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI—but it’s a separate project with no formal connection to OpenAI itself.

At the time, I didn’t believe Worldcoin was what God was pointing to. And I still don’t.

But then something happened—almost exactly one year later in November 2024.

You may know that Elon Musk filed a lawsuit against OpenAI, arguing they had strayed from their original mission as a nonprofit. What wasn’t known until that lawsuit?

In court filings, it was revealed that back in 2018, OpenAI co-founders Sam Altman and Greg Brockman proposed launching a crypto token through an ICO (Initial Coin Offering).

Elon Musk reportedly shut the idea down behind closed doors.

So, what I heard prophetically in 2023—“OpenAI crypto”—was real. I just didn’t know how real.

And now, even with this past plan revealed, I don’t believe the crypto coin idea is off the table.

Here’s what’s happening now:

  • OpenAI is keeping its nonprofit structure. In May 2025, just last week, they said they would stay under nonprofit control, even as their business arm becomes a Public Benefit Corporation (PBC) to raise money.
  • Elon Musk called it a “facade.” He says OpenAI is still acting like a for-profit company, just behind a nonprofit label—and claims it benefits insiders like Sam Altman and private investors.
  • The lawsuit is moving forward. Musk is continuing his case, and a jury trial is set for March 2026.

So, what does this mean prophetically?

Even though the ICO didn’t happen in 2018, and OpenAI is walking a tight line between mission and monetization—the dream was still true. The Lord revealed something private nearly a year before it became public.

And if OpenAI ever does launch its own crypto, I believe it will be a wealth-generating opportunity worth watching closely. By then, some of us may already have wealth transfer gains ready to multiply.

Stay alert. Watch the signs. And as always—test everything in prayer.

Until next time,
Marcus

Hey everyone, This is short notice, but I wanted to share a course I’m teaching this summer. This course was birthed from a personal request from a friend who homeschools her children. She reached out because she saw a real need for teens to learn about crypto, digital assets, online safety, and financial wisdom from someone who could teach it in a practical, responsible, and faith-based way. After talking it through, I decided to offer a 6-week live remote course called Crypto Basics for...

Hey Reader, I wanted to send a quick but important update on AgriDex. This email is specifically for those of you who received my original AgriDex email about 14 months ago. I’m sending this only to that group because I know not everyone on the list has the same context. Over the past few months, a couple of people have asked me for an update on AgriDex. So I figured more of you may be wondering the same thing. Before I get into it, let me say this clearly: I’m simply an investor in the...

You can be right about crypto…and still lose it. Not because the market went down, but because of how you stored it. I want to share a simple, balanced storage allocation plan you can use as a starting point. This isn’t the only way to do it, but it’s a way that avoids a single point of failure. The Problem Most People Don’t Think About Most people fall into one of these: Everything on an exchange Everything in one wallet The issue? If that ONE thing fails… everything is lost. A More...
